Accredited Life Coach and Qualified Psychologist
Gillian Cotton, a New Zealander, holds a Master of Science degree majoring in Psychology with honours from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, where she specialised in studying suicidal ideation of people in chronic pain. A resident of the United Kingdom for twelve years, she is an accredited life coach and mentor, working with KentCM and through her own practice.
Gillian has travelled extensively and has taught English as a second language for the past nine years developing special programmes for foreign professionals working in London. She earned her teaching qualification from Trinity College London and a post-graduate teaching certificate from the Sheffield Hallam University.
A working mother of two grown boys, Gillian has extensive life experience with family issues, coping with illness, and moving to new environments. She honed her entrepreneurial skills running a maternity clothing business in New Zealand and also designed hand-made surgical dolls for teaching purposes for the medical profession.
Gillian is a graduate member of the British Psychological Association and currently lives in Canterbury, Kent.
